After visiting the fancy ‘Morohashi Museum of Art’, which has some beautiful pieces of artworks from the great Spanish artist, Salvador Dali, I searched some stories of our famous artists, of course including Dali, and also another Spanish great artist, Pablo Picasso.

As a genius of art, Picasso was doing his fantastic art works in his whole life. But our lovely Picasso, is famous not only for his great works, but also for his romantic affairs in his personal life. I am not meaning to gossip, but what I am thinking about is, comparing to a great man’s brilliant achievement, some disgraceful affairs are always easy acceptable, even ignorable. See Isaac Newton, everybody knows his story with the fallen apple, but just somebody knows his story with his sister. That’s easy to think. Their contributions to the world are great enough to let majority people forgive these kinds of ‘tiny’ things. How could you require a genius does everything like a god?

But how about common people? I think most of us do not have the talents and capability to create a god like thing, but just live and work following thousands of invisible rules.  If you are out of our common circle, you may stand on the edge, or even opposite of moral rule, and you must cannot be understood and forgiven. See Vincent Willem van Gogh. But Van Gogh was somehow lucky. He got invaluable golden opinions after his death because he was another talent.

So for us common ones, we say do obey social rules, and do not do any creepy things. Because the world is rude, it can destroy anyone breaking the circle. But we also say, follow your heart, if you believe it is right.

How do you choose?
