Every year in June there are 2 major events that keep my attention for quite a while. On the one side the E3 with everything new for the video game enthusiast and on the other hand Apple’s WWDC for developers in the Apple ecosystem. I am heavily subscribed to both.

Sony seems to be showing the strongest lineup with PlayStation VR and the PS4 Neo coming later this year as well as highly awaited software titles. After a year-long wait “The Last Guardian” seems to be actually close to a release and Hideo Kojima revealed the title he is working on for Sony.

Apple had a landslide of news for its developers as well. A new file system coming (finally), iMessage as a service, Siri extension for Apps and lots more. A rather unimpressive user facing feature of the new iOS 10 will be the possibility to remove some of the 1st party Apps annoying so many people ever since iPhone OS was first released (Stocks App anyone?):

Watching the upcoming sessions will keep us busy for quite a while as there is lots to explore and learn. My favorite time of the year. A whole week of presents.
