Last night, Apple released new versions of OS X and iOS. Besides the more popular features like the new Photos App it also fixes a long list of bugs. Some of them which made my life much harder in the last couple months since OS X 10.10 was released.

If you are, as I was most of the time, annoyed by massively unresponsive UI (on my 27” Mid 2011 iMac) this is the update to get. Other annoyances that seemingly have been fix include Bluetooth devices occasionally being disconnected and flaky WiFi connectivity.

If you also develop software for iOS or OS X the update to Xcode 6.3 might also be of interest as it comes with Swift 1.2, a pretty solid update to Apple’s new programming language. It comes with improvements in both the language syntax as well as it’s compilers.
